Kimberly Reckner

President & Founder

Kimberly Reckner has been working in the world of technology for over fifteen years. She is a graduate of Methodist University with a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics.
Like many of us, Kimberly was unsure how to apply her academic experience to a career path. Luckily, she had an amazing opportunity present itself and started contracting with a government agency utilizing her analytical skills. After growing her experience of real world technology uses in a high security environment, she decided to move to the private sector and transitioned to working in the world of online communications technology. She discovered that she loved the potential of opening portals and doors to connect people and data through technology across the nation and across the globe.
Through her career, Kimberly has worked along side companies such as Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Aol, FBI unit, and others. She led the American Red Cross Online Fundraising Team through the Indian Ocean Tsunami of 2004, was responsible for the half billion dollars raised in support of Hurricane Katrina victims, and built one of the first hierarchical technology models designed to support a non-profit affiliate structure.
Kimberly’s hope is that through Mysamaris, she will be able to provide all non-profits with the same consulting and fundraising capabilities available to national organizations, truly making a difference in each one’s cause.

Kimberly grew up in Appalachian farm country and now lives outside our nation’s capital.  From small town to big city – her recognitions/publications started before she was 10, front-page news with the birth of two twin calves.  This continued with records through high school athletics, winning state dance competitions, all-state soccer, ambassador of AAABA, to collegiate NCAA final four. She still finds a way to cover the gamut- from sewing, reading hardback books, playing clarinet and candle making to playing volleyball, coaching and modern dance.  She moves…constantly…and loves it!

Specialties: Strategy, Creative and Technical Consulting, Big Picture Thinking

“I have an almost complete disregard of precedent, and a faith in the possibility of something better. It irritates me to be told how things have always been done. I defy the tyranny of precedent. I go for anything new that might improve the past.”
-Clara Barton

Partnerships & Associations

Mysamaris partners and works with a range of technology partners to bring best of breed solutions to our clients.

At Mysamaris we stand for integrity, equality and justice, and vehemently oppose racism, bullying and brutality. We believe in lifting up one another, lending a hand to our fellow man, and equal treatment under the law and in our communities. This is the foundation on which Mysamaris was built – to serve causes having a need to be heard.

Our hearts grieve for our country right now, as we witness the outright inhumanity against the African American Community, the LGBTQ community, women, children and our peers. We believe no one has a right to interject fear and anger against anyone without accountability or consequence. No one has the right to torment, beat, insult or kill another human being. Enabling hate and abuse of power in our legal system against members of the Black community allows ignorance and injustice to prevail as a norm.
